Sadhana…Practice Your Practice

Yoga contains a potent power that teaches us perseverance, diligence, and discipline. It is your bridge to the Great Beyond or source or God–whatever you want to call it. But that connection must be renewed regularly by this practice of Sadhana.

Getting to class once a week is good, but it may not be enough to keep your connection to the divine going.

True peace and renewal comes when you can renew your practice daily. This does not mean you must spend an hour every day. A few minutes spent breathing deeply with your eyes closed can release your stress to center yourself, remind you of your divine potential of bringing yourself into full expression of your extraordinary being.

If you have the space and time for only one pose, come to child’s pose for surrendering yourself to Mother Earth and also to quiet your mind.

Creating awareness for these fleeting, precious moments connects you to the eternal source to go inwards into your unique essence.
